Delicate

 Today I will show you my latest art journal spread.

I was inspired by three challenges.

Below I will describe the process.

 Firstly, I applied white gesso and then modelling paste.

Before the paste is dried I stamped on it with a piece of lace and a doily.

 

The doily was made from stencil paste and a silicone mold.

 

 I coloured the pages with watercolours.

I stamped with bubble wrap,with the doily and distress ink.

 I stuck on the page cheesecloth and a piece of  lace.

I stamped with some branch dies and distress stencil stain.

 I placed a romantic photo, framed with scrapbooking papers and a lace. 

Then I used the dies and the doily on the composition.

 I made a stamp with modelling clay and silicone mold.

I used it to stamp all around the pages.

 I made a butterfly with modelling clay.

I wrote the word "delicate" into a dies frame.

 I also used strass, small metal elements, 3d powder coarse, a pen and a watercolour pencil.

The breath of nature

This is my project for the third stage 

of Mixed Media & Art's challenge" Creative Art".

"The breath of nature".

"We suggest you create any work in the style of a mix-media using ONE non-scrap 

material from nature and also one more obligatory element of this stage - LETTERS in any form."

 I created a mixed media project on a tree trunk slice.

I made a heart with polvere ceramica and a plastic mold

and a decorative element with gesso and a silicone mold.

I placed them all on the packaging board of agave fibers 

and I also put some agave fibers under the heart..

 I used a dictionary page and I circulated the greek word "δενδρον" which means tree.

 I used dry fruits and leaves from a tree of my yard.

 

I placed a piece of cheesecloth  at the bottom of the composition

and I stuck on it a metal peacock.

 I also used thread, cord, cardboard (the small leaves),

  

 lace, heavy body paste with a stencil

  bronze wire, bronze beads and 3d powder coarse.

I coloured everything with Artex powder pigments.

At the end I made white splashes.

Mini baby album

.My project this time is a mini album for a baby.

I decorated the covers with Maja's Denim & Friends collection.

I used modelling clay to make the brooch and the buttons.

I painted with watercolours. 

 I also used white and black pen.

I tied lace and ribbons.

A wanderlust lesson with Marta

Last year, I started art journaling and I discovered Marta Lapkowska

and her amazing videos on YouTube (Maremi SmallArt).

Yesterday, it was her turn to teach at Wanderlust 2017

and I had the opportunity to watch  the two fabulous projects she made.

As I was watching the videos, at the same time I was creating my projects

and I want to share them with you.

 The first one is an art journal spread.

The second project, I decided to create it on a canvas.

 Marta used a tree bark as a base of her project.

I had pieces of tree bark and I separated it into pieces 

and stuck it with modelling paste on a canvas
and I used this as a base for my project.

 At the end, I found out that I had two focal points at my project

and it would be better if it was one.

I will be more careful next time.

Anyway, the fact is that I really enjoyed all the process.

Dreams

Hello! Today I will show you my project for the second stage 

of Mixed Media & Art's challenge" Creative Art".

"Crystal Beauty"

 "It is dedicated to transparent elements! 
 In your work there should be ONE transparent element NOT from scrapbooking 
and one more obligatory element of this stage is CIRCLES."

I created a mixed media project on an mdf board.

The transparent element I used is an inject printable transparency film.

I cut 3 cycles which I placed on three of the five rolls. 

On the other two I placed two transparent cabochons.

 For the background I used stencils with heavy body paste.
I painted it with black acrylic paint and then with Artex powder pigments.

 The five cylinders are made of toilet roll, kitchen roll and plotter's paper roll.
The heart is made of polvere ceramica.
 I used stencil paste with a silicone mold, a metal key and a metal note.

I used air dry clay or artista modelling clay and silicone molds
to make butterflies, a heart lock, feathers and stars.

 I also used cheesecloth, strass, thread, 7 dots paper (the leaves),  3d balls and 3d powder coarse.

At the end, I applied Goldpasta.
