I love what your eyes say about your soul

Hello lovely crafters!

Today, I am gona show you a mixed media tag

I made for Nomadic Soul Diaries Instagram January 2019 challenge.

First, I cut a cardboard into a tag shape.

I covered the cardboard with a piece of fabric and laces.

The heart is made of Ceramic powder which was molded into Textured hearts mold.

The feathers are made from cooper foil.

I also used modelling paste with a stencil to the upper part of the tag.

I painted the whole composition with acrylics (mainly blue shades) and wax paste.

I glued metallic elements, flowers, 3d balls and beads with Heavy body gel matt.

The cooper feathers are oxidized with a spesific liquid
which made this green patina.

I wrote the quote " I love what your eyes say about your soul"

Summer dreams

Τhis month I am invited as a Guest Designer at the "Frilly and Funkie" blog

The challenge theme is "On the cutting edge".
This challenge is all about using dies, punches or other cutting tools to create a masterpiece featuring
at least one die cut, machine cut or punched image.
Make sure your art is in the vintage or shabby chic style and incorporates a cut out.

Also, the fifth mission of Summer Marathon of Creativity (in my closet) is to create a summer card.

So, I decided to combine these two challenges and I made a mixed media summer card in a vintage style.
Most of the materials used are from Decomagia Hobbyshow.

αφορά στην κατασκευή μιας καλοκαιρινής κάρτας.

Αποφάσισα να συνδυάσω τις δύο προκλήσεις και έφτιαξα μια κάρτα μικτών τεχνικών σε vintage στυλ.
Τα περισσότερα από τα υλικά που χρησιμοποιήθηκαν είναι από το Decomagia Hobbyshow.

Initially, I cut a scrapbooking paper to the desired dimensions
and with a scissors I have scraped its edges.

Αρχικά έκοψα ένα χαρτί scrapbooking (Maja Design) στις επιθυμητές διαστάσεις

και με ένα ψαλίδι έξυσα τις ακμές του.

I used feather dies to cut a scrapbooking paper (collection Herbarium, Stamperia).

Χρησιμοποίησα μήτρες κοπής φτερά για να κόψω scrapbooking paper
(συλλογή Herbarium, Stamperia).

I made the same with a label die.

Έκανα το ίδιο με μια μήτρα ταμπέλα .

I applied clear gesso with a stencil.

Εφάρμοσα διάφανο γκέσσο με στένσιλ.

I painted the scrapbooking paper and the feathers with watercolours.

Έβαψα με χρώματα ακουαρέλας το χαρτί scrapbooking και τα φτερά.

I used goldpasta to highlight clear gesso and all the edges.

Χρησιμοποίησα goldpasta για να τονίσω το διάφανο γκέσσο και τις ακμές.

The dreamcatcher was made with heavy body gel and silicone mold,

which I coloured with artex pigment, delicate acrylic paint Pentart and Goldpasta.

Η ονειροπαγίδα είναι φτιαγμένη από heavy body gel και καλούπι σιλικόνης,

και χρωματίστηκε με artex pigment, delicate acrylic paint Pentart και Goldpasta.

Totally resistable

I made two cards for Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

"Totally Resistable"

I used gellatos to paint the cards.

Then I remove the paint with a baby wipe and stencils.

Just for you

I was wondering if it is difficult to made a paper rose,

so I watched some you tube videos and I tried to make it.

I confess that it's not so complicated as I thought.

I used a plain paper which I stamped it with distress inks.

I hope I will make a tutorial soon.

Then the second thought was how to use it,

so I made a card and put the rose on it.

I used cork and cardboard, stencils, stamps, lace, black wire.

Clean & simple card

Fall colours

Hello my friends!!!

These days I discovered "Maremi SmallArt" with Marta Lapkowska
and I am watching her videos in my free time.
I tried to apply her ideas for texture (20 ideas Mixed Media Art Tutorial)
with my way and the available materials in my home studio.
Unfortunately, I haven' t taken photos of the process.
I hope I will make some extra tags soon,
so I would show you the process (in any case watch Marta's video).

Today I will show you one of these tags.
