Today I will show you a painting I made for CanvasCorpBrands May's challenge "Watercolors"
It is a mixed media painting with clay elements on wood boards.
For background, I used watercolors, distress oxide and glimmer mist.
The result is a beautiful sky.
When I saw 7 gypsies scissors,
the first thing that came to my mind was a picture of scissors cutting a balloon string.
So I made a painting with a girl which was flying with a balloon and the scissors suddenly cuts its string.
The girl and the balloon was made from air dry clay and was painted with acrylics.
I used a second piece of wood as a frame.
I made texture with modelling paste and a spatula and then I paint the frame with acrylics.
I used baby wipes to remove some paint.
