Spring wreath for SNP


Μια νέα πρόκληση ξεκίνησε αυτό το μήνα στο Scraps N Pieces και
το έργο μου είναι ένα ανοιξιάτικο στεφάνι γεμάτο πολύχρωμα λουλούδια.

We have a new challenge at Scraps N Pieces and
my project is a spring wreath full of colourful flowers.


Το moodboard της νέας πρόκλησης έχει παστέλ χρώματα, λουλούδια, 
Πασχαλιάτικη και ανοιξιάτικη διάθεση.
Επιλέξτε ό,τι σας εμπνέει και φτιάξτε κάτι που θα μοιραστείτε μαζί μας.

The moodboard of the challenge has pastel colours, flowers in an easter and spring mood.
You can choose whatever from our moodboard that inprires you 
and make a project to share with us.


Εγώ, στο δικό μου έργο, εμπνεύστηκα από τα χρώματα και τα λουλούδια της εικόνας.

Πάνω σε ένα έτοιμο στεφάνι κόλλησα με πιστόλι σιλικόνης χάρτινα λουλούδια, 
λουλούδια από πηλό, μεταλλικά διακοσμητικά και μια ετικέτα από πηλό.

I was inprired by the colours and the flowers.

I used a ready-made wreath and I stuck on it paper flowers, clay flowers, 
metal embellishments and a clay label.


Τα λουλούδια από πηλό έγιναν με κουπάτ και ελαφρύ αυτοξηρούμενο πηλό.
Αφού στέγνωσε καλά ο πηλός, βάφτηκαν με λευκό γκέσο και στη συνέχεια χρωματίστηκαν
με χρώματα ακουαρέλας.

The clay flowers were made of air dry clay using cookies cutters.
They were painted with white gesso and watercolours.


 Με τον ίδιο τρόπο έγινε και η πινακίδα.
Χρησιμοποίησα καλούπι σιλικόνης Iron Orchid Designs της Prima.
Πέρασα βερνίκι στα στοιχεία από πηλό 
και τέλος έγραψα με ανεξίτηλο μαρκαδόρο στην πινακίδα
τη φράση "Spring is in the air".

The label was made with the same way as the clay flowers.
I used a silicone mold Iron Orchid Designs, Prima.
I applied varnish on the clay elements
and I wrote with a permanent marker on the label
the phrase "Spring is in the air".


Ανάμεσα στα χάρτινα και τα πήλινα λουλούδια κόλλησα μεταλλικά διακοσμητικά.

I also used metal embellishments.

Romantic baby box

Ένα ρομαντικό κουτάκι για τη βάπτιση της μικρής Δήμητρας.


Αρχικά πέρασα στο ξύλινο κουτί πάστα διαμόρφωσης με στένσιλ.
Αφού στέγνωσε έβαψα όλο το κουτί με ακρυλικά χρώματα Creamy Acrylic της Pentart.
Έτριψα με γυαλόχαρτο και έφυγε το χρώμα από την πάστα 
και εμφανίστηκε το σχέδιο του στένσιλ


Με αυτοξηρούμενο πηλό και καλούπια έφτιαξα πεταλούδες και μία ταμπέλα για το όνομα.
Τα λουλουδάκια έγιναν με κουπάτ.


Με κόλλα decoupage κόλλησα εκτυπωμένα χαρτιά στο καπάκι του κουτιού (μέσα και έξω).
Η ταμπελίτσα στο πάνω μέρος είναι διακοσμητικό chipboard.


Το όνομα και η ημερομηνία γράφτηκαν με ανεξίτηλο στυλό.


 Διακοσμήθηκε αντίστοιχα και το εσωτερικό του κουτιού.

Tags and numbers


Καλό μήνα!
Το έργο μου σήμερα είναι ένα art journal spread.

Today my project is an art journal spread


Το moodboard αυτού του μήνα στην πρόκληση του Scraps N Pieces με ενθουσίασε.
Ήταν μια ευκαιρία να χρησιμοποιήσω κάποιες από τις ετικέτες ρούχων που μαζεύω εδώ και καιρό
και να θυμηθώ τα online μαθήματα της Donna Downey, 
η οποία χρησιμοποιεί πολύ ετικέτες και νούμερα στα έργα της.

I am excited with this month's moodboard at Scraps N Pieces challenge blog.
It was an opportunity to use some of  the cloth tags I have been collecting for a long time
and to remember Donna's Downey online lessons (tags and numbers are used a lot at her art).



Πέρασα κλωστή ή σπάγκο σε όσες ετικέτες δεν είχαν 
και τις κόλλησα μαζί με αυτοκόλλητα νούμερα στο journal μου.

I threw a string to each tag and stuck them in my journal.
I also stuck on the tags numbers.




 Σε κάποιες ετικέτες τα νούμερα έγιναν με πάστα διαμόρφωσης και στένσιλ.

Some numbers was made with modeling paste and stencil.



Άπλωσα διάφορες πάστες στο background και αφού τα πέρaσα όλα με λευκό γκέσο,
τα έβαψα με ακρυλικά χρώματα της DecoArt.

I applied different texture pastes on the background 
and after that I applied white gesso and colored everything with DecoArt acrylic paints.



Με μωρομάντηλα και ψεκάζοντας με νερό αφαιρούσα χρώμα από τα σημεία που ήθελα.

I used baby wipes and water to take off some of the paint.



Χρησιμοποίησα χρώματα ακουαρέλας για τις σκιάσεις 
και τέλος σφραγίδες για να προσθέσω και κάποια επιπλέον νούμερα.

I used watercolor paints for shading and at the end I stamped some extra numbers.

I love what your eyes say about your soul

Hello lovely crafters!
Today, I am gona show you a mixed media tag
I made for Nomadic Soul Diaries Instagram January 2019 challenge.


First, I cut a cardboard into a tag shape.
I covered the cardboard with a piece of fabric and laces.
The heart is made of Ceramic powder which was molded into Textured hearts mold.
The feathers are made from cooper foil.
I also used modelling paste with a stencil to the upper part of the tag.


 I painted the whole composition with acrylics (mainly blue shades) and wax paste.


I glued metallic elements, flowers, 3d balls and beads with Heavy body gel matt.


The cooper feathers are oxidized with a spesific liquid
which made this green patina.


I wrote the quote " I love what your eyes say about your soul"

From Trash to Treasure

Το έργο μου αυτό το μήνα για τη νέα πρόκληση του Scraps N Pieces
είναι η μεταποίηση ενός παλιού μπουκαλιού λικέρ σε ένα διακοσμητικό με λαμπάκια.

This month my project for Scraps N Pieces challenge
is the alteration of an old liquor bottle into a table decoration with lights.


Εμπνεύστηκα από το moodboard " From Trash to Treasure".
Μπορείτε να δείτε την πρόκληση εδώ και να λάβετε μέρος
με μια δική σας μεταποίηση ενός αντικειμένου που είναι για πέταμα.

I was inspired by the moodboard " From Trash to Treasure".
You can find more detail for our challenge here and upcycle a "trash to a treasure". 


Ένα άδειο μπουκάλι λικέρ, καθαρίστηκε αρχικά από τις ετικέτες.

First, I cleaned an old empty bottle and removed all the labels.


Με ένα στένσιλ και stone effect paste (limenstone) έκανα αστεράκια στο πάνω μέρος του μπουκαλιού. Στη συνέχεια πέρασα το μπουκάλι με icing paste (frosty pearl).
Με αυτοξηρούμενο πηλό έφτιαξα τα σπίτια και τα άφησα να στεγνώσουν.
Αφότου στέγνωσαν άπλωσα crackle paste και gesso.
Τόνισα το κρακελέ απλώνοντας vintage effect wash και για λάμψη ψέκασα με shimmer mister.

With a stencil and stone effect paste (limenstone) I made the stars on the upper part of the bottle. Then I applied icing paste (frosty pearl). The houses are created of air dry clay. When everything was dry, I applied crackle paste και gesso. I also used vintage effect wash and shimmer mister.


Στις στέγες και στα παράθυρα κόλλησα glass glitter.
Στα παράθυρα τοποθέτησα και μεταλλικά στοιχεία.
Έντυσα τον λαιμό του μπουκαλιού με sari ribbon, το οποίο είχα ψεκάσει με shimmer mister.
Έφτιαξα ένα φεγγάρι από χαρτόνι και το έβαψα με μεταλλικό ακρυλικό χρώμα.
Με το ίδιο χρώμα τόνισα και τα αστέρια.
Στον ουρανό χρησιμοποίησα, επίσης, μπλε ακρυλικό χρώμα.
Τέλος κόλλησα στα σπίτια αυτοκόλλητα νούμερα.

On the roofs and the windows I used glass glitter and metal elements. 
I wrapped bottle's neck in sari ribbon, which was painted with shimmer mister. 
I made a cardboard moon and painted it with metallic acrylic paint.
I applied the same colour to the stars.
For the sky I used blues acrylic paint. 
Lastly, I glued some stickers numbers to the houses.
