Dare to blossom

Μια νέα πρόκληση ξεκίνησε στο Scraps N Pieces challenge blog.
"Η νέα μας πρόκληση είναι εμπνευσμένη από τα πρώτα άνθη που αρχίζουν να προβάλουν κάθε τέτοια εποχή. Σε όλες μας έρχονται εικόνες από λεπτά και ντελικάτα λουλουδάκια πάνω στις αμυγδαλιές και τις βερυκοκιές. Αυτό το συναίσθημα της ανανέωσης και αναγέννησης θέλουμε να μοιραστούμε μαζί σας! "

DARE TO BLOSSOM

Εμπνεύστηκα από τα υπέροχα χρώματα του moodboard αυτού του μήνα

και έφτιαξα έναν ανοιξιάτικο πίνακα μικτών τεχνικών πάνω σε mdf.

I was inspired by the splendid colors of this month's moodboard
and I made a spring mixed media painting on an mdf board.

 Ξεκίνησα με μια πινακίδα mdf 22cmx38cm και δύο χαρτιά scrapbooking.

I started with an mdf board 22cmx38cm and two scrapbooking papers.

 Τα έκοψα σε λωρίδες και τα κόλλησα πάνω στην πινακίδα.
Χρησιμοποίησα, επίσης, μια σελίδα βιβλιου, washi tapes και χρωματιστές χάρτινες δαντέλες.
Αφού ολοκληρώθηκε το κολάζ, τα πέρασα όλα με clear gesso.

I cut the papers in strips and stuck them on the board.
I also used a book page, washi tapes and colored paper doiles.
When I complete the collage, I covered everything with clear gesso.

Με στένσιλ, πάστα μοντελισμού και ακρυλικό χρώμα δημιούργησα ανάγλυφα σχέδια.

I made texture with stencils, modelling paste and acrylics.

 Κόλλησα αυτοκόλλητα γράμματα και σχημάτισα τη φράση του moodboard
"dare to blossom".

I wrote "dare to blossom"with sticker letters.

To φόντο ολοκληρώθηκε με distress ink και σφραγίδες.

The background was completed with distress ink and stamps.

 Με αυτοξηρούμενο πηλό έφτιαξα ένα λουλούδι.
Με διάφορα εργαλεία σχημάτισα μικρούς και μεγάλους κύκλους στα πέταλα.
Το έβαψα με λευκό ακρυλικό χρώμα και πατίνα λαδιού.

I made a flower of air dry clay.
I decorated the petals and I painted the flower with white acrylic paint and patina.

Έβαψα με ακρυλικά χρώματα τους μεγάλους κύκλους.

I painted acrylic colors in the large cycles.

Κόλλησα στο κέντρο του λουλουδιού ένα μεταλλικό διακοσμητικό.

I stuck in the center  of the flower a metal element.
