2018 charms

Hello my dear friends!

These are my charms for New Year.

I made trees from air dry-clay.

I placed them on slices of tree trunk.

 I used acrylic stamps on the trees and the small gifts.

 I placed a copper wire on the top of the trees and a small bell.

 I used 3d balls, Pentart and handmade snow paste.

I made the snow paste with white acrylic, baking soda and white glue.

Christmas house

Hello my dear friends! Have a nice month!
We are entering a Christmas mood with the new challenge of Scraps N Pieces.
 You can be inspired by the following moodboard and join the challenge here. 

Το έργο μου αυτή τη φορά είναι ένα mixed media ξύλινο σπιτάκι.

Εμπνεύστηκα από τα χρώματα, τα πακέτα με τις κορδέλες, το χιόνι,
το ξύλο, το σπάγκο και τις νότες του mood board.

My project is a mixed media wooden house.
I was inspired by the colours, the packages with the ribbons, the snow, 
the wood, the twine and the notes of the moodboard.
  

 

Χρησιμοποίησα σαν βάση ένα ξύλινο καδρόνι,

 το οποίο είχα κόψει κατάλληλα ώστε να διαμορφώσω τη στέγη.

As a base, I used a wooden cadron, which I had cut properly to form the roof.

Διακόσμησα τους τοίχους με modelling paste και στένσιλ, στάμπες και αυτοκόλλητες ταινίες.

 I decorated the walls with modelling paste and stencils, stamps and washi tapes.

Τους έβαψα με Distress stain spray ink και πιτσίλισα gesso.

Χρησιμοποίησα χαρτόνια scrapbooking και αυτοξηρούμενο πηλό στην πόρτα και στα παράθυρα.

I painted the house with Distress stain spray and I made splashes with gesso.
I used scrapbooking papers and air dry clay to form the doors and the windows.

 

Η στέγη και άλλα σημεία σκεπάσθηκαν με πάστα χιονιού

(την έφτιαξα ανακατεύοντας gesso, ατλακόλ και σόδα).

The roof and some elements were covered with snow paste.
(I made the snow paste with gesso, white glue and baking soda.)

Κόλλησα αυτοκόλλητα νούμερα "25" και το "December".

I stuck stickers "25" and "December".
 

Δέθηκε όλο το σπιτάκι σαν δώρο με κορδέλες και σπάγκους

και κρεμάστηκαν καρδιές με ευχές.

"Εύχομαι η μαγεία των Χριστουγέννων να γεμίσει κάθε γωνιά του σπιτιού σας και της καρδιάς σας."

 Ι packed the whole house as a gift with ribbons and twine
and hung on them wooden hearts with wishes.
"I wish the Christmas magic fill every corner of your home and your heart."
